Olga Werley

07/12/1928 - 03/11/2019

Olga Werley of Westerville OH passed into Our Lord's care on March 11, 2019 at the age of 90.  She was reunited with her loving husband of 60 years, John Werley, her daughter Marcia West and her parents, Agnes and Mike Lowinger.  She is survived by her children: Chris (Linda Parrott) Werley, Tim Werley, Carol (Frank) Hill, and son-in-law Jim West, by her grandchildren: Christi (Brent Webb) Medley, Stephanie (Nathan) Seeger, Jason (Autumn) Werley, Jonathan (Jayme) Hill, Casey (Erin) Hill and C.J. Werley, and by her great-grandchildren: Charlotte and Devan Medley, Elliott Werley, Nate and Cecilia Seeger, Lena Hill and Baby-on-the-way Hill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews  and their descendants.

Olga was very proud of her roots in Marion Ohio where she and John went to High School at St. Mary's. They were married and had their 4 children there.  They moved to Columbus so John could pursue a degree at The Ohio State University.  Olga retired from the State of Ohio, Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation. She was devoted to her family and adored her grandchildren. She was a lifetime avid gardener. There was always something notable growing,  blooming and being harvested in her yard. Olga loved the Catholic church and was devout in her faith. She gave back by volunteering for a variety of committee work. For many years she enjoyed volunteering at St. Ann's Hospital.

The family wishes to extend it's heartfelt thanks for the wonderful care she recieved over the years from Visiting Angels of Westerville, Heartland Hospice and Willowbrook Christian Assisted Living.
With Olga's passing, the heavenly roster that includes Werley Family's large and boisterious "Greatest Generation" is complete. In addition to John and Olga, that roster includes Helen Werley, Frank and Rosemary Godfrey, John and Dorothy Lusch, Ralph and Fran Angermeier, Bud and Ruth Werley, Joe Werley, Dick and Betty Werley. I can hear them all now as they lovingly shout, "Shut up and deal the cards already!"
