Condolences

Condolence From: Pat Bennon, Westerville, Ohio
Condolence: Sharon and I met almost 20 years ago when we attended a Mount Carmel leadership retreat. She was a great leader, both at St. Ann's as a nurse manager but also in her latest role as a Regulatory Specialist. She knew her job; you could see her dedication as she continued to work while undergoing treatment for her disease. She supported numerous departments including mine over many years of service. Her expertise and commitment to patients---always at the forefront of her work---will be greatly missed. My condolences to the family, she spoke of you often. You are in my prayers.

Condolence From: Cousin, Kelly Hamilton, GC, OH
Condolence: So pleasing to see so many people were touched by Cousin Sharon's incisive people talents as were me and my family blessed at an early age in life to experience the compassion, love and leadership Sharon, Ernie, Uncle Albert, Aunt "mommy chris" and Freda showed during our living with them. Sharon's big, hearty laugh continues to be heard in my fond memories. Peace and Love.

Condolence: Sharon was an amazing nurse, boss, friend, and mentor. I worked for her on 2North. She always pushed me to my utmost potential. She knew what I was capable of even before I did. When I became a clinical manager she became a wonderful friend and mentor. She was there to support me when I needed her. Sharon also supported my decision when I decided to step down from being a manager to go back to patient care. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Condolence From: Linda McSweeney, Gahanna, Ohio
Condolence: I have had the pleasure of knowing Sharon most of my career at Mount Carmel, beginning with when we were Nurse Managers together at St. Ann's. We developed a great bond right from the start. What I remember most about her was her special sense of humor, her passion around our patients, and the love she always had for her staff and everyone she worked with. She was so knowledgeable, and I learned a lot from Sharon over the years. We will all miss our dear friend Sharon, but she leaves behind a wonderful legacy. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time. Sharon loved you all so very much, and spoke of often.

Condolence: I started volunteering 10 years ago and Sharon was 2nd floor unit manager at the time. I worked on her floor quite a bit and she was always so helpful and appreciated me being there visiting with her patients. As time went on we became fast friends because we had a similar sense of humor. She always was willing to help and so appreciated it. My heart goes out to her husband and children she will be greatly missed.
