Obituary for Clara Creager

Clara Hosfelt Creager, born August 26, 1930 in Princeton, NJ. Died November 20, 2018.

Clara was an author, an artist, a renowned hand weaver and a Professor Emerita of the art department, The Ohio State University.

Clara and her late husband, artist Robert L. Creager, lovingly restored their mountain home in northern Vermont where they spent many adventurous summers and enjoyed winter activities with their family. They also refurbished and restored their historic home in Westerville, Ohio . This home was in their family for over 65 years. It is here that they raised their children.

Clara is preceded in death by her husband Robert and son Duncan. She is survived by her children Valerie (Hudson)Tilford, Bob Jr., and Malcolm (Kathy). 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister Katherine Winship.

Services will be held at 1 PM Friday, November 30, 2018 at HILL FUNERAL HOME, Westerville where family will receive friends one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to the Hospice of your choice in her memory.
