Obituary for David L. Lozano

David Louis Lozano, age 62, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville, Ohio. Born June 29, 1956 at Fort Drew in Koizumi, Japan and a resident of Westerville, Ohio since 1962. He earned his degree from DeVry University. He started his engineering career at Leibert in the 80’s as a systems engineer, and later moved to OSU to continue as a systems engineer. In 2001 he started his own company, MindWare Technologies, a psychology research company, and worked hard every day for his family, friends, company, and customers. Preceded in death by his parents Raul Garza Lozano of Matamoros, Mexico and Lydia Perez Lozano of Brownsville, Texas; and brother-in-law Jerry Ward of Westerville. Survived by his loving and supportive wife, Jane Lozano of Westerville, his daughter Samantha Lozano, his son and daughter-in-law David and Anne Lozano; six siblings, Rosie Lozano of Westerville, Raul Lozano (Sandy) of Lebanon, MO, Elizabeth Ward of Westerville, Linda Posani (Jim) of Westerville, Charles Lozano (Kay) of Westerville, and Norma Claggett (Jim) of Westerville; and his mother-in-Law Jean Olmstead of Columbus. Funeral Services for David Louis Lozano will be Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Westerville. Rev. Fr. David Gwinner Celebrant.. Entombment will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation hours will be Monday, October 15, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 PM at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville, Ohio.
