Obituary for Jane Horn

Ruth Jane Morrison Horn, 90, passed away on Monday August 20, 2018 at home.

She was born on August 25, 1927 in Dayton Ohio. She graduated from Dayton Stivers High School and Otterbein College where she was a member of the Tau Epsilon Mu Sorority. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Albert V. Horn whom she met while at Otterbein. She was a teacher in the Westerville Public School system for over 20 years and an active member of the Church of the Master United Methodist Church for over 70 years. A strong supporter of the Westerville and Otterbein communities she was known for her loyalty and generosity. A loving mother who cherished her family and friends above all. She loved travel, theater, books, and fashion. She is survived by sons Thomas Edward (Karen), John Mitchell (Melissa), and William Whitman (Barbara), grandchildren Matthew, Meagan, Taylor, Parker, Alec (Sydney), Paige, Sarah, and Elizabeth.

Friends may call 4-7 PM Friday August 31st at the Hill Funeral Home 220 S. State St., Westerville. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday September 1st at Church of the Master U. M. 24 N. Grove St., Westerville.
