Condolence From: Glenn Ackerman, Westerville, OHIO
Condolence: The world has lost an astonishing human being. This truly remarkable man was one of a kind. He was gentle, kind, always smiling and always positive. He had the ability to take someone of limited skills and turn them into a highly productive member of society. The years I worked with Booker are among the greatest years of my life. He mentored me in the difficult world of retail. Although older than Booker, I learned an enormous amount from his life experiences. And I am a much better man because of it. If you are a person of faith, you know that some people come into your life for a reason. Booker Walker was that person for me. And I will never forget him.
I have prayed for Booker for quite some time now, hoping that this day would not come for a long, long time. But God has His plan, and now Booker is right where he is supposed to be.
May God bless Star and all of the Walker family as they move forward through this difficult time. But when it gets tough, please think of the hundreds of people Booker touched and how much better we all are because we knew him.

With Love.
- Glenn Ackerman
