CAMERON Cynthia Ann “Cinny” Cameron ,77 of Westerville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018 at St. Ann’s Hospital in the care of Mount Carmel Hospice. Cinny was born on December 1, 1940 in Minerva, Ohio. She was a graduate of Springfield High School where she was a cheerleader and active in the school orchestra. Cinny was an active member of Central College Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder and was a member of the Presbyterian Women’s Board. She was recognized for her service with an honorary life membership award in 2009 and was presented with the Women of Faith Award in 2013. Along with this, Cinny was involved in numerous church programs and activities. Cinny was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Gary, whom she married at Overbrook Presbyterian Church on October 19, 1974. She is survived by sisters Connie Harkins and Anne Zawodniak (Richard). Also survived by children Julie Harris Kremer (Dan), Jack Harris (Amy May), and Rachael Harris Hebel (Christian); step children Todd Cameron (Laureen), Bruce Cameron (Mandy), and Kelly Cameron (Diane). Also grandchildren Matt Kremer, Jessica Kremer Sarver (Brian), Bergin Harris Mace (Dom), Shelby Harris Deehr (Matt), Taylor Harris, Alex Harris, and Henry Hebel; and great-grandchildren Caleb Daft and Brandy Deehr. Nieces and Nephews Amy Harkins Ezell (Scott), RJ Heck, and Mary Jo Cameron along with many close friends and extended family members. Cinny will be remembered for her warm smile, gracious demeanor, and loving spirit. Cinny had a smile and a hug for everyone! She was a truly Christian woman who saw the good in everyone. A celebration of life service will be held at Central College Presbyterian Church, 975 S. Sunbury Rd, Westerville, OH, on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 1pm in the sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Mount Carmel Hospice or Central College Presbyterian Church. Special thanks to the staff of St. Ann’s Hospital and Mount Carmel Hospice for the compassion and care they showed during Cinny’s illness.
