Bob Hobson, age 95, passed away peacefully on Saturday March 10, 2018 in Gahanna, Ohio. He was born September 21, 1922 in Damascus, Ohio. Bob was an Army veteran of WWII serving in Europe, and remained until 1946 assisting the Army in preparing for the Nuremberg trials. He enjoyed a long career as a sales manager for several companies in the plumbing fixtures industry, and was a member of Church of the Messiah United Methodist in Westerville. He was an avid sports fan, an average golfer, and an amazing listener who touched many lives with his caring ways. He will be missed dearly. Preceded in death by his loving wife Ginny in 2011. Survived by his daughter Debbie (Ted) Sianis, grandchildren Missy (Josh) Glorioso, Nick (Missy) Sianis, great-grandsons Damon and Dominic Glorioso, daughter Diana (Jim) Yost, and his beloved cat, Star. The family would like to thank Mount Carmel Hospice and Three Creeks Senior Living for their wonderful care. Family and friends may call at Church of the Messiah United Methodist, 51 N. State Street, Westerville, OH on Thursday March 15th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A celebration of Bob’s life will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jim Wilson officiating.
