Patricia “Pat” Lee Swenson, age 56, died December 4th, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born February 2, 1961 in Rock Island, Illinois and was dedicated to her kids and her church families in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Ohio. Pat was preceded in death by her father, Jerome Kelty, her mother, Illene Kelty-Eklund, and her sister Beth Washburn. She is survived by her sons Mark (Katherine) Swenson, Brian Swenson, daughter Amanda Swenson, and grandchildren Jacqueline and Scarlett. Friends may call Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 5:30-7 pm at the Hill Funeral Home, 220 South State Street, Westerville, Ohio where a memorial service will be held at 7 pm. For friends and family in the Illinois or Iowa area, a second service will be held January 6th, 2018 at The Apostolic Sanctuary at 10 am located at 1501 John Deer Parkway, Silvis, Illinois 61282. While well-wishers are not discouraged from sending flowers to either memorial location, but friends and family wishing to commemorate Pat’s life or to offer condolences to the family are encouraged donate to “The Refuge Church – Faith Forward” in Rock Island, Illinois at P.O. Box 6848, Rock Island, IL 61201. Pat was happy to participate as a member of this loving, accepting, and diverse congregation that was focused on loving and showing the love of Christ to their community
