Obituary for Randall Wayne Lucas

Lucas Randall Wayne Lucas, age 53 of Columbus passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 after a valiant battle with cancer. Born Dec. 5, 1960. Graduate of Brookhaven High School, class of 1978. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, NASCAR and playing poker in the neighborhood with friends. He worked at Buckeye Nissan as an auto body tech. and was very good at his trade and really enjoyed his friends there and his special friend and boss, Joe, who was a real help at this difficult time. He is preceded in death by brother Ricky and step father William R. Filby. He is survived by son, Ryan Lucas; mother, June Filby; and sisters, Debbie Lucas and Karen Lucas of Louisville, Ky. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St. Westerville. Graveside service Wednesday 10 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E. Broad St. Columbus.
