Obituary for Joann McGregor

Joann “Chandler” McGregor, age 71 went to meet her lord and Savior on Monday, October 30, 2017. Joann was a retired supervisor for Sylvania in Massachusetts and retired from GE and Liebert in Columbus. She loved to travel and see sites. Joann was a very loving and gentle caregiver of her mother for many years. She loved her family and took care of anyone who needed a little help during illness or diversity. She was a terrific cook and hosted wonderful parties for her family for many, many years. Joann also had a deep love for animals. Her pets were very lucky to have her as a pet owner. Our beloved sister is survived by brothers Darrell, Donald (Leora), Carl (Jeannette), Jim (Bonnie) and Steve (Cindy) and sisters Judy (Cleo) and Kathy. Preceded in death by parents Perry and Maud Chandler and brother Charles (Dorothy). She will truly be missed by numerous nieces, nephews and good friends. We extend our sincere thanks to Sharon Sens whose friendship was unlimited and faithful the last several years. We will be celebrating Joann’s life at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville from 11:30 to 1 on Friday, November 3, 2017 immediately followed by a service at 1. Interment Galena Cemetery in Galena, Ohio. A luncheon will be served to all guests immediately following the burial at the Galena United Methodist Church at 2777 Sunbury R., Galena.
