Condolences

Condolence From: Monica Shimo, Stow, OH
Condolence: Harry, this is Monica Shimo's son Joseph, I want to send condolences on behalf of Monica. Monica was good friends with her from Jazzercize in the 1980's and 90's before she moved away. Monica and Karen had such good times at Jazzercise, Monica used to sit right up in the front, attending sometimes even twice a week. Monica's husband died in 2015 and we did not hear about Karen, I am sorry. Unfortunately, Monica died just this past Sunday and I was trying to get ahold of Karen to tell her. I am sure they have met up in Heaven and are having a grand time, just like they used to. Best Wishes

Condolence From: Barbara Dove, Leland, MI
Condolence: Sending condolences to Karen's family.
I first met her in 1990, when I moved to Westerville, and a neighbor invited me to join her at a Jazzercise class. My first impression was that she was doing 15 things at once; selling things, teaching things, raising kids, etc. What energy and motivation! I've gotten to know her better in later years and understand what a special friend she was to to many and nothing was too much trouble. She was multitalented and a tremendously hard worker. I believe she may have lived 100 years in her 66. May she rest in peace and without pain.

Condolence: Our deepest sympathy--Karen was a great lady. Fond memories of the block parties in front of your house -- how fitting. I agree with Harry in that the party started when Karen walked in.

Condolence From: Maryse Gonzalez, Columbus, Ohio
Condolence: Harry, Tricia, Paul and family, my sincere sympathy for the loss of your beloved Karen. She was the first person when I moved to Westerville to be my friend. Over the years we lost touch, but a few years ago she had me over to the house for dinner. It felt like we had never been apart! That is how she made everyone feel! She was simply the best at loving everyone!
