Obituary for Rita Grove

Rita Moseley Grove died November 5 at Westminister Thurber in Columbus, OH. She was a long time resident of Westerville,OH. Survived by her children Dan (Brenda) Grove, Ken (Sharon) Grove, Jeff (AnnMarie) Grove, Tom (Melissa) Grove, Cynthia Grove, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rita was born Dec 12 1920 in Glastonbury, CT. She is a University of Massachusetts Amherst graduate of Psychology. Later attended Youngstown University with a degree in Elementary Education. Rita taught school in Columbus,OH at Mifflin and East Linden Elementary schools. After her retirement she taught adults at the Columbus Literacy Council. She was active in American Association of University Women and strongly believed in empowerment and equality through education for all people. She attended Church of the Messiah in Westerville, OH and was active in Mary Circle. Her Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 14, 2016 at Church of The Messiah, U.M., 51 N. State St., Westerville. Rev. Jim Wilson officiating. Donations may be made to Ohio Living Home Health and Hospice or a charity of your choice to honor Rita.
