The Reverend David Redding will provide a memorial service Wednesday July 6th, at 11am at Central College Presbyterian Church in the chapel, followed by immediate internment at Blendon Central Cemetery

Walter will be missed. He was a terrific guy with a great personality. We always saw him a the IBEW union 25th dinner at Vila Milano. Won't be the same with out his cherry smile.

Walter Leo Schwartz Age 91, of Westerville, Ohio, died peacefully on June 27 th 2016 at the Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio. Walt was born on August 12, 1924 to the late Joseph and Sidonia Schwartz here in Columbus, Ohio. Graduate of Columbus West High School, he served as an army medic during WWII, and became a 33rd degree Mason. He was a proud member of I.B.E.W. Local 683 for many years and served as a past President. Walt was preceded in death by his loving wife of sixty two years Clara, his sister Rita Stasiak, great granddaughter Madeline, and many sister and brother-in –laws. Survived by his three children: Charles (Cheri) Schwartz, John (Pam) Schwartz, and Trudie (Terry) Harris, Grandchildren: Lance (Mindy) Schwartz, Jennifer (Aaron) Dickison, Sarah (Joe) Yeagler, Thomas (Mandy) Harris, Daniel Harris, and Katlin Harris. Great grandchildren: Abagail, Lane, Xander, Hannah, Denny, and Xavier; also survived by his sister in-laws Eleanor Reed and Irene (Richard) Yates, and many nieces and nephews. The Reverend David Redding will provide a memorial service Wednesday July 6 th , at 11am at Central College Presbyterian Church in the chapel, followed by immediate internment at Blendon Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either Faith Mission or Salvation Army.
