Betty Jean Stockton, age 90, went to be with her Lord on April 28, 2016. Betty was born in Painesville, Ohio and moved to Westerville with her husband Chuck to attend Otterbein College, where she graduated in 1950. Betty was a faithful, involved member of Church of the Master United Methodist for nearly 60 years. She sang in the choir, played bells, and quilted. She was also an active member of many clubs including Westerville Women's Music Club, PEO, and CCL, as well volunteering as a tutor at Whittier Elementary. Betty is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Charles "Chuck", and her granddaughter Michelle Collie. Betty is survived by her son, Charles "Chip" (Susan) Stockton; daughter, Mary Anne (Mark) Morehart; as well as grandchildren, Tracy Raghib, Ryan (Caitlin), Emily and Sean Morehart; and five great grandchildren; as well as her nieces and many treasured friends. Friends may call during visiting hours from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, May 7 at Church of the Master United Methodist located at 24 N. Grove St., Westerville, Ohio. Visiting hours will be followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at Church of the Master.
