Obituary for Aileen Nagode

Aileen 'Lee' Lois Nagode (nee Plumley), age 93, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, February 17, 2016. Born in Bancroft, County of Hastings, Ontario, Canada, on September 20, 1922 the daughter of the late Charles E. and Mae E. Plumley (nee McInnes). Aileen's life-hobby was her family, hearth and home; and no one will ever bake a pie as well as she did.

Beloved mother of Robert R. C. (Judith/'Judi') of Ostrander, OH, Richard (Ann) of Clarkston, GA, Janice A. Price (Ron) of Sunland, CA, Frank W. ‘Bill’ of Sharon Center, OH, Frances M. ‘Peggy’ Baker (Ron) of Painesville, OH and Michael A. (Melody) of Lewis Center, OH; devoted grandmother to Elizabeth; and great-grandmother to Ayden, both of Painesville, OH.

Survived by brother William E. 'Chuck' (Colleen) of Orleans, ON, Canada and sister of the following deceased siblings: Ross E. (Vivian), Ethyle M. (Lloyd), Ronald M. (Enid, Carolyn); devoted aunt to numerous nieces and nephews in both the United States and Canada.

The family also wishes to extend our deepest gratitude and thanks to caregiver Sharon Oakes of Sunbury, OH.

A memorial will be held at a private family gathering at Lake Paudash, Ontario, Canada in Summer of 2016; the family asks that you please remember our mother in your thoughts and prayers.
