Loretta B. Atwood, 86 of Charleston, WV, formerly of Westerville, OH went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 6, 2016. Loretta was born on September 19, 1929 in Columbus, Ohio. The daughter of John Cummings Sr. and Eva Francis Cummings, Loretta was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Jerry Atwood, son, Brad Atwood, step-mother, Rhoda Cummings, brothers and sister, Donald Cummings, John Cummings Jr., Dale Cummings, and Martha Willett. Loretta is survived by son, Steven (Cheryl) Atwood, grandsons Joshua (Cassie), Kyle, Cory (Donna) and great granddaughter, Gabrielle Jean, beloved sister, Juanita Fess, beloved brothers, Larry, Michael and Lanny Cummings and nieces and nephews. Loretta was a dedicated and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Friends may call from 11 AM Monday January 11, 2016 until time of service, 12:30 PM Monday, January 11, 2016 at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville.
