Obituary for Shirley Irene Crosson

Shirley Irene (Neal) Crosson, 83, was freed from Alzheimer’s disease and went home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. She was born in Sligo PA, grew up in Clarion, PA, and has been a long time Gahanna resident. Fulltime homemaker. Loved to bowl with friends at Amos Bowling Lanes. Girl Scout volunteer.

Preceded in death by Son, Thomas D. Crosson and by Grandson, Sean Ritzman. Survived by daughters, Vicky Crosson, Cathy (Crosson) Ritzman, Tina Crosson (Tufts). Beloved Grandmother to Neal Crosson-Hill, Deanna Adams, Joey Oldham, Brian Ritzman, Ian Ruck, Thomas Sexton, Andrew Ruck, Katie Ruck, and Ann Osborn. Great-grandchildren Emily Adams, Liam Adams, Kyleigh Ritzman, Wesson Oldham, Allie May Sexton, Bentley Ruck, Grayson Oldham, Nora Ritzman. Preceded in death by Clair (Mike) Neal, Elma Hetrick, Max Neal, Joann Judy, Wendell Neal, Ronald Neal, Marilyn Crews. Survived by brothers and sisters Amy Kent, Gary Neal, Pat Fuller, Richard Neal, Sue Amato, Terry Neal.

Friends may call at Hill Funeral Home, 220 S. State St., Westerville, Friday, November 6th, 4-7 PM and where a service will be held Saturday, November 7th at 11 AM with visitation an hour prior to the service. Interment at Blendon Central Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home.
