Patrick A. Delaney, age 82 of Westerville, Ohio and Naples, Florida passed away Monday, October 5, 2015. He attended Rosary High School, graduated from Aquinas High School and then attended The Ohio State University. Pat was a USMC veteran of the Korean War. Retired U.S. Mail Carrier. He is a past Vice-President of Central Ohio Baseball Association. He umpired for the Ohio High School Athletic Association. Pat played baseball, softball and golf throughout his life. He achieved two hole-in-ones, one at Sunbury Golf Course and one at Blackhawk Golf Course. Pat was an usher at St Patrick's Catholic Church, and a member of the Charity Newsies and AmVets #89. Pat had a passion for Frank Sinatra music, and Notre Dame football. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Katie; children, Lori Dustin, Kathleen (Ted) Georges, Kristy (Pat) O’Neal, John “J.P.” Delaney, Teri (Mike) Franklin, Tom (Becky) Delaney and Kyle Delaney; 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
