Obituary for Elaine Dangler

Elaine Ann Dangler, age 76, died peacefully on June 29, 2015. She graduated from Cory-Rawson High School in 1957 and worked at Ohio Power for several years. She was a loving wife of 55 years and mother of 3 boys, and her greatest joy was her family. Elaine was active in the community as a Red Cross volunteer and member of Worthington United Methodist Church. She enjoyed photography, genealogy, and home design, and she invested much time and care in other people. She is preceded in death by her son David Dangler and brothers Ortho (Anna Mary) and Larry (Jeanie) Stratton. She is survived by husband Ivan, sons Dan (Mary) and Doug (Laurie) Dangler, and grandchildren Megan, Sarah, Rebecca, and Evan, and close family friend Kathy (Rick) Jender, and children Holly, Melissa, Ashley, Andrew, and Anna. Friends may call on Thursday, July 2, from 6:00-8:00pm at Worthington United Methodist. Services will be on Friday, July 3, at 10:00am with interment at Northlawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute to Worthington United Methodist Church in her memory.
