Condolence From: Don & Pat Legger, Columbus, Indiana
Condolence: To the family: Your Dad & Mom (Dick & Kay) is like my second parents, they mentored me and Dick always made time to hit fly balls to Jim, Al & I on that west 143rd. street biggg yard. You are loved and missed.

Condolence From: Alan Cahill, Phoenix, Arizona
Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of sadness. It has been so long since we last were together and yet, in my minds eye, it seems as if it were only yesterday. I will always remember Dick, the smiling, good natured man who would hit fly balls to us or throw the football with us and also play in those great touch football games in the side yard on 143rd Street. He will always be alive in my memory. Kay, it is long past the time when I should have thanked you for those great peanut butter sandwiches that Jim and I used to make in your kitchen and the way that you were always so loving in your treatment of me. Dick has not passed away, he has passed forward into eternal life.
