Obituary for Robert Dale Eastwood

Robert Dale Eastwood, age 60, of Westerville was called home to our Lord and Savior. He passed in his home unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 19th.

He was born in South Hills, Virginia on December 8th, 1961 to the late Alfred Thomas Eastwood (affectionately known as “Bear”) and the late Sally Martin Wells. He was a graduate of New Albany High School in 1981 and he was a dedicated mechanic until his passing. He was an avid fisherman and very much enjoyed watching football. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, his niece Marina and his friends and neighbors.

Surviving him are his children, Amanda (Christopher Wagneer) Eastwood, A. Thomas Eastwood, Jennifer (John Hall) Eastwood and Matthew Smith; his grandchildren Dominick Eastwood, Daniel Hager and Jacob Hall and his niece, Marina Martin.

In lieu of flowers the family will be setting up an account for Marina Martin. We ask that you make donations to this in honor of Dale. The account will be set up next week and the funeral home will have all the information after the account is available for donations.

Friends may call Saturday, July 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hill Funeral Home, 220 S. State St., Westerville. A memorial service will follow.
