Obituary for Leslie Robert Bothast

Leslie Robert Bothast of Westerville, Ohio passed away at home on April 23^rd, 2022. He is survived by many friends and colleagues who were his family.

Les was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 18^th 1947. He graduated from Libbey High School with many honors. After graduation Les served in the United States Air Force receiving an honorable discharge on January 5 1972.

After the Air Force Les earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo where he would go on to receive a master’s degree in industrial engineering.  Les was a member of Mensa International.

Les worked for the University of Toledo, National Family Opinion, and Libby Owens Ford (now known as Pilkington North America)

In 2006 Les made his home in Westerville where Les was a member the Citizens Police Academy, and volunteered every Memorial Day at the Field of Heroes.

Les will be laid to rest at the Otterbein Cemetery at 2:00 pm on Sunday May 15, 2022.
