To the whole family you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I have many memories with Brittany as we would go hang out with grandma, have lunch or snack, talk and play some pool just because we were board, then as we got older for the kids birthdays as well!
She was an amazing lady and always included me as one of the family along with asking about my family too! She was funny and loved telling stories of things they had done recently or even of the kids all growing up.
She dearly loved all of her family and friends so much and will dearly be miss.

Rebecca Sue "Becky Sue" VanHouten 1946-2021

Rebecca Sue "Becky Sue" VanHouten

05/01/1946 - 11/10/2021

Rebecca Sue "Becky Sue" VanHouten, age 75, of Westerville, died on Wednesday evening, November 10, 2021, at Mount Carmel St. Ann's following several months of health troubles. Becky was born in Delaware, Ohio, on May 1, 1946, the daughter of the late Vesta Gayle Tennant and Vaughn Tennant. She graduated from Mt. Gilead High school in the class of 1964. Becky worked as a Nurse's Aid at Westerville Manor Care for over 30 years. On June 6, 1964, Becky married her loving husband of over 57 years, Terry A. VanHouten. Together they loved traveling to new places around the world. The family confidant, her children and grandchildren would turn to Becky for emotional support, never worrying about her passing judgement. She shared a special relationship with her children and grandchildren, being deeply involved in all of their lives. No matter the circumstance, Becky took everything with "a grain of salt," finding humor in all of life's quirks. She was a member of Westerville Church of Messiah. Becky will be missed by her husband Terry VanHouten, her three sons, Ron VanHouten of Westerville, Mark VanHouten of Kettering, and Mathew (Dara) VanHouten of Sunbury; four grandchildren, Brittany VanHouten, Samantha VanHouten, Andrew VanHouten and Alex VanHouten; two great-grandchildren, Madelyn VanHouten and Lilian Warner, one sister Pam (Roger) Linder.
