Obituary for Beulah Fritsche

Beulah Fritsche 1927-2021

Beulah Fritsche

03/24/1927 - 09/01/2021

Beulah Fritsche, age 94, peacefully passed away at her home in Westerville, Ohio on September 1, 2021.

She was born on March 24, 1927 to the late Clay and Delma (Moss) Rammelsberg.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Carl Fritsche.

Beulah taught school at Highland High School and in the Big Walnut School District where she retired as a music teacher. The gift of music that she endowed to her classes over the years was reflected in the cards and thank you notes she received from her students over the years. As the Director of Musical Theatre at Big Walnut, she brought the excitement of Broadway to the school and community, with Carl helping out by building the sets.

She was a longtime member of Central College Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the church choir and played bells. This was just a small expression of Beulah’s love of music. She played piano and sang with gusto whenever asked, whether in her home or in public. Along with her sister-in-law-Neva, the pair was always ready to perform at area nursing homes to the delight of the residents and staff. She had a burning desire to entertain as a frequent program chair for the Westerville Music Club and sang at many of the local churches and at the homes of friends.

She loved to cook, and her friends and family were blessed to be guests at her dinners. Square dancing helped keep her and Carl young in heart and body.

Survived by sister, Sarah Jane Cockrell; brother Clay Rammelsberg (Doris); and numerous nieces and nephews. Special Friends: Tom and Michelle Ander.

Preceded in death: Parents, Clay and Delma Rammelsberg, Husband, Car,l Sister, Mary Alice Prushing (Leroy) Lukens (Brad) Brother in laws, Ernest Fritsche and Paul Fritsche, Dean Cockrell Sister-in-laws, Neva Fritsche, Maria Wilson and Marian Schreiner.
