Phyllis Ann Morgan passed away Monday, June 7, 2021 at Brookdale Westerville. She was 91 years old.
She is survived by her devoted husband Jim Morgan. They were married for 71 years. She is also survived by her daughter Margie (Rick) Doone, sons David and Eric (Amy) Morgan, granddaughters Erin (John D) Biehl, Lena and Lily Morgan, and great-grandson John R Biehl. She is also survived by her sister Gail Hetzler, and two brothers.
Phyllis was a graduate of Otterbein University. She was employed as a kindergarten teacher her entire career at Westerville City Schools. She was always an advocate of lifelong learning and an avid reader. After retirement she and Jim traveled extensively throughout the United States in their RV. She delighted in volunteering at Inniswood Metro Park. Besides gardening her hobbies included quilting, basket weaving, sewing and playing the piano, in all of which she was quite accomplished.
The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Brookdale Westerville and Brookdale Hospice. Through their kindness during her stay, they became family to her.
