Calling hours will be Thursday, May 27 at 11am at Hill Funeral Home, Westerville Ohio. Pastor Derrick Hurst will conduct a funeral service at 12 pm followed by graveside prayer and interment at North Lawn Cemetery Westerville, Ohio. 

Okay Cindy Bunny and David so sorry for your lost will be dearly missed. My love and prayers to you and your loved ones. So many memories of when we were growing up and Neighbors and bowling with your mom meant so much to me. Love to you all

Norma Veltum of Westerville, Ohio went to her heavenly home on Saturday, May 22 at the age of 90.

She was born August 30, 1930 in Earl Park, Indiana to Joy and Frank Ford where she spent her childhood years. She married Ervin Veltum on June 19, 1949 in Park Ridge, Illinois. She took business classes in Chicago and worked as a bookkeeper for a dry-cleaning business.

After moving to Westerville, Ohio in 1960 Norma was a homemaker raising their 3 children. She and Ervin led an active social life. They were involved in bowling and golf leagues, card and dance clubs and their church.

After Ervin passed away Norma worked as a receptionist at Office Exchange. She had many hobbies including reading, sewing, knitting, and gardening. Norma was competitive and loved beating her family at card and board games. She also enjoyed playing with her great-grandchildren.

Norma is preceded in death by her husband Ervin, her parents, and 9 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her 3 children Bunny (Gary) Boerger, Cindy Cooper, David (Diane) Veltum, nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren Laura Hale, Lisa Gardner, Nicole Boling, Tyler Boerger, Lynn Veltum, and David Veltum.
